Our Introduction to Permaculture Course will be held the 3rd-4th of May, 2014. More info. Permaculture is a system of conscious design used to create sustainable, healthy abundance in all aspects of our lives. This abundance can then filter through our relationships, our homes, our work, our food, and our communities. Over the years Five Acres has been used by all age groups for many reasons. Five Acres offers a safe space for children to explore their natural world. We have had some of the most fabulous dens built in amongst the once densely overgrown vineyard; there is much buried treasure marked by rather cryptic maps dotted around the site; seasonal treasure trails; woodland walks; seed sowing and growing and much more... including birthday parties for both the very young and those slightly older who wish to experience their perhaps first time camping … More
